Amy Lou Adams (born August 20, 1974) is an American actress and singer. Adams began his acting career at the dinner theater stage before making his screen debut in the 1999 black comedy film Drop Dead Gorgeous. After making several guest appearances on television and starring roles in B films, she landed the role of Brenda Strong in Catch Me If You Can in 2002, but her first breakthrough role was in the 2005 film Junebug, in which she starred alongside Ashley Johnston. She also received critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for the role she played.
Adams then starred in Disney’s 2007 film Enchanted, a critically and commercially successful film that earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination for her role as Gisele. Adams starred in the 2008 film Sunshine Cleaning alongside Emily Blunt and Alan Erkin.
Early Life Of Amy Adams
Adams was born in Vicenza, Italy, the fourth of seven children to American parents Catharine (née Hicken) and Richard Adams. He has four brothers and two sisters. Adams was 8 or 9 years old during that time.
His father then began singing professionally in restaurants, while his mother was a semi-professional bodybuilder. Amy met Le Gallo during an acting class in 2001. Soon after that they both started falling in love with each other.
