Life of Prem Chopra
Prem Chopra was born on 23 September 1935 in Lahore. His father’s name was Ranbir Lal and his mother was Rooprani. After the partition of India, his family moved to Shimla and he completed his primary education from there. After this, he completed his undergraduate education from Punjab University. His attachment to acting started right from his college days.

After completing college, he started working at the Times of India in Mumbai. At the same time, he continued to put his own strength to enter films. After this, in the year 1962, he got a chance to work in a Punjabi film. The film “Chaudhary Karnail Singh” became a super duper hit at the box office. Prem Chopra’s career also shone with this film.
