Who is Pawan Malhotra ?

Pawan Malhotra (born 2 July 1958) is a Hindi film and television actor. He has played gain roles in Buddhadeb Dasgupta’s National Film Award-winning Bagh Bahadur and Saeed Akhtar Mirza’s Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro, both released in 1989. He is skillfully-known for his role as the cool-blooded mafia don Irfan Khan in the Telugu blockbuster Aithe (2003) and in his highly thought of role of Tiger Memon in Black Friday (2004). In 2005, he acted in the Telugu movie Anukokunda Oka Roju as a Tantrik.

Born in Delhi, Malhotra grew taking place in Nawabganj, Old Delhi, and studied at Manav Sthali School. Having graduated in Arts from Hansraj College, Delhi University. His first hand experience in movies was as an scarf in costume department of Gandhi (film). Thereafter he was production belt in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Khamosh and Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho!.

Pawan Malhotra was born on 2 July 1958 in Delhi. He did his Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University. He then joined Delhi Theater. He got an entry into the TV world directly from there. In 1986, Pawan got his first show Doordarshan Nook in which he played the character of Saeed. Through this show, Pawan started being recognized in every household. In the year 1984, Pawan got to work in his debut Ab Aayega Maza.

He worked for many years with Assistant Director Buddhadeb Dasgupta, Saeed Akhtar Mirza Shyam Benegal Deepa Mehta. He then appeared in Sony’s television show Aisa Desh Hai Mera in 2006. He then ventured into the film world. While he did in many hit films, critics such as the film Jab We Met and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag praised him for his performances. He played all kinds of negative positive characters in his film journey. Due to which he was also honored with awards several times.
