Who is pran ?
Pran (born: 12 February 1920; Death: 12 July 2013) was a prominent character actor in Hindi films who is primarily known for his villainous role. The Indian actor, who won Filmfare Awards and Bengali Film Journalists Association Awards several times, acted as a strong villain and hero in Hindi cinema from the 1940s to the 1990s. He initially acted in films as a hero from 1940 to 1947. Also acting as the villain continued from 1942 to 1991. He also worked on the lines of supporting actor from 1948 to 2007.
As soon as the mention of famous actor of Hindi films, Pran, comes in front of the eyes, such a stirring face who lives in every character, realizes that without him this character would become meaningless.

I never thought that I would become an actor
The villain of the century, Pran, who filled the audience with horror through different tones of villainy with a great performance, did not even think about becoming an actor. After passing the examination of matriculation, he was interested in learning photography in Delhi, dreaming of becoming a still photographer. At the same time, when the company opened its office in Lahore, Pran was sent there. One day he met the storyteller Wali Mohammed at a paan shop.

Wali Mohammed told Pran that we are making a Punjabi film named [Yamla Jat] and the role of a character in it fits you perfectly. At first Pran took this matter lightly, but later on the advice of Wali Mohammed, he accepted to act as a villain in the film. After this, Pran played the villain’s long innings for almost four decades and entertained the audience thoroughly.

Pran’s favorite pillow in films was Kalam Barkhurdar .. At the peak of his career, he was sometimes paid more than the hero of the film. He got more money from the protagonist Amitabh Bachchan for working in the film Dan.
Pran Received Awards
Pran has received the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor three times. He was given the award for Upkar for the first time, the second time for Aansoo Ban Gaye Phool and the third time for a dishonest film.
In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award. Even today, in many ceremonies, Pran is seen showing his presence.
