Vinay Pathak is an Indian actor, television presenter, filmmaker and theater artist. They are known for their chemical timing. He has acted in several critically acclaimed films such as Khosla Ka Ghosla, Bheya Fry and Johnny Gaddar. He has also done serpenting roles in blockbuster films such as in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Vinay went to State University of New York at Stony Brook and has acted in several plays. After that, his performance in Fry Fry received a lot of applause. In 1999, he played the important role of Vineet Sir, an English teacher in Zee TV’s popular series Hip Hip Hurray. He anchored the Channel V show Oy with his friend Ranveer Shorey. Apart from this, Pathak also did many shows on TV.

He worked in the critically-acclaimed film Jani Gaddar and Aaja Nach Le Matte. He has also worked in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

His next film Raat Gayi Baat Gaya which was produced by Pritish Nandi Communication won the Best Film Award at the 2009 HBO New York South Asian International Film Festival. The film was released in India in December 2009. Vinay Pathak’s film Chalo Delhi could not run at the box office.

His film Antaravand directed by Sushil Rajpal won the National Film Award for Best Film on Social Issues in 2009. Pathak played an important role in the film.
