Who Is Boman Irani?
Boman Irani is an Indian film and theater actor and photographer. On 1 October 1962, Bowman was born into a Parsi family. Sources have stated his date of birth as 2 October but Bowman said in an interview that he was born on 1 October at 8:45 pm.
He is a graduate of Mithibai College, Mumbai. After his graduation, he started his career with Life Insurance Corporation of India from 1982 to 1985.
Boman moved into photography in 1987 and remained with it until 1989. He is a professional photographer.
Boman Irani Dramatic career
Boman’s love of acting was also present during school and college. He trained under acting coach Hansraj Sidhiya from 1981 to 1983 and adopted professional acting methods. Unlike the National Theater, Bowman’s expertise was more of British theater and he soon developed brilliant accents.
Boman’s mentor was Alic Padmasi – a veteran theater actor best known for his role as Mohammad Ali Jinnah in Gandhi. Bowman’s initial theatrical appearance was illuminated where he played a cameo in the regional theater in Versova. He then worked with serials like Family Ties and Mahatma Vs Gandhi (Gandhi was rejected by Darshan Jariwala after playing the role).

His busy film career put an end to his theater career, but despite this, Bowman continues to perform in the theater whenever possible. He has more than 40 plays credited – about 15 of them as the main character.
Movie Career
Boman debuted in several commercials such as Fanta, Kate and Crackjack Biscuits (Mr. Jack of Craik and Jack Duo). It is MBBS with Munnabhai. That Bowman became really popular. His role as J.Asthana was one of his most memorable. Bowman has since become one of the best supporting actors in the film industry – most of his roles: comedic (Main Hoon Na, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Dostana, Waqt: The Race Against Time, No Entry and 3 Idiots), Assistant ( Veer-Zara, Maine Gandhi Ko Nah Maar, Lakshya, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. Sorry! : The Royal Guard).
Boman Irani is a member of the Parsi Television Actors Community and is also its secretary. This specific community includes others, such as Smriti Zubin Irani and Cyrus Broacha. Bowman hosted the IIFA Awards in 2008 and 2009 together with actor Ritesh Deshmukh. He has also been in Kaun Banega Crorepati with Sanjay Dutt.
