Who Is Arshad Warsi?

Arshad Warsi is an actor, producer, singer of Hindi films. Before joining the film industry, he joined Akbar Sami’s dance group and won the “Indian Dance Competition” in the year 1991. Which inspired him to become a choreographer.

He has worked in many films like Munna Bhai MBBS, Karishma, Jani Dushman, Mujhe Meri Biwi Se Bachao, Jeettege Hum, Golmaal Again.

Arshad Warsi was born on 19 April 1961 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His father’s name was Ahmed Ali Khan who was a musician, singer, poet.

At the age of 17, Arshad began selling cosmetics items to meet his basic needs.

Arshad married Maria on 10 August 2004, they are the parents of two children.

Arshad started his own dance academy called “Awesome”.

Warsi got his first opportunity to act in Hindi cinema with Amitabh Bachchan’s company Tere Mere Sapne.

He got many films during that period but he did not appear in Hindi cinema. Warsi gained recognition in Hindi cinema through the Raju Hirani-directed film Munnabhai MBBS.

He played the role of Circuit in this film. In this film, he was seen as Sanjay Dutt’s right hand. His performance in this film was so well liked by the audience that he also started getting jokes on him.

After this, he once again appeared in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sakkal Lage Raho Munna Bhai.

Arshad Warsi plays not only the comic role but also the intensive role very well. This he proved in the films Ishqiya and Dedh Ishqiya.

He started working as a choreographer in Bollywood. As a result, he began choreographing the song “Roop Ki Rani” in the film ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’ (1993) starring Anil Kapoor and Sridevi.

In 1996, she made her acting debut with the film “Tere Mere Sapne”. Which was the first film of Amitabh Bachchan’s production house.

He has also worked in a photo lab to assist Mahesh Bhatt in the films ‘Kash’ (1987) and ‘Thikana’ (1988).
