Alfredo James Full Name Al Pacino (born 25 April 1940) is an American film and theater actor and director.

Early life and education
Al Pacino was born in East Harlem, Manhattan, to Italian-American parents Rose (Gerardi before marriage) and Salvatore Alfred Pacinoke, who divorced when he was two years old. The father moved to the South Bronx to live with Kate and James Gerardi, who initially lived in Corleonei, Sicily.
